Portland, Oregon - May 2007 –Rivergate Farms, LLC merged with American Onion, Inc. to create River Point Farms. Dallas-based CIC Partners, a premier mid-market private equity firm, purchased a controlling interest in the transaction.

Founded in 1996 by Joe Graziano, to serve the unique and challenging demands of the food service industry, Rivergate Farms, LLC is now the number one fresh onion processor in the United States. The Company believes that it consistently delivers the best tasting and lowest priced fresh onions on the market. Rivergate is currently headquartered in Portland, Oregon and operates a state-of-the art processing plant in the heart of Oregon's fertile and rich Columbia River Basin.

The Company produces and ships over 175 million pounds of produce a year, with the largest fresh-cut onion volume in the U.S. As the United state’s lowest cost producer of high quality onions, the Company continues to attract a premier and growing customer base.
